Moncler.

Ambassador for Moncler Grenoble since the early 2020s. For Fall/Winter 2022, Richard skied the glacial slopes of Chile's Quetrupillán volcano in a film directed by Jonas Lindstroem — and has fronted the house's winter campaigns ever since.

Morning.

Forty days skiing the snow-loaded rooftops of Avoriaz 1800 — a project three winters in the making, including a hard landing that broke both of Richard's heels. The result became one of freeskiing's most-shared films. Directed by Maxime Moulin & Antoine Frioux.

Richard Permin (born 1985) is a French professional freeskier and filmmaker from Lyon. He started skiing at the age of two and trained toward a ski-instructor diploma before turning professional at eighteen.

He came up through park and pipe — riding X Games slopestyle and winning King of Style in Stockholm in 2007 with a switch 10 double-tail grab — then moved to big-mountain freeride, building a reputation in the Alaskan backcountry and the deep snow of Japan, with segments in Matchstick Productions' The Way I See It (2010) and Days of My Youth (2014).

Today he writes, produces and skis his own films — from the Avoriaz rooftops of Good Morning to the FPV forest of Fastwood — and is a brand ambassador for Moncler, Zenith, Dynastar and Glacier 3000.
